Great Lakes Region

HRDI has a regional programme that works on access to justice for the vulnerable in society, in particular people infected and affected by HIV. It trains a cadre of lawyers who use international and regional human rights mechanisms to advocate with and on behalf of their communities.

In the Great Lakes Region we work with university law clinics and NGOs/CBOs in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda.
